Fish & Chip Supper Great Success

Friends, local party members and councillors turned out in force last night to support the Cambridge Ward Focus Team's latest fundraising event - a Fish & Chip supper at the newly opened Fylde Fish Bar.

The evening was an great success with everyone delighted at the supper supplied by the newest "chippy" in Southport.  As organiser of the event I was really pleased that the evening was such a success, the service was great, conversation was excellent with people meeting  friends old and new and we were able to support a new local business.

All in all a great night.

Fundraising Coffee Morning

Cambridge ward Liberal Democrats recently held a coffee morning to raise funds for ward action and literature.

Councillor Carmel Preston said

"Its always great to catch up with everyone at occassions like this. We run regular fundraising events like this and everyone is more than welcome to come along - people should call either myself or Sue for more details."

With over 50 people attending, including Lib Dem party members, supporters and friends, attending a great time was had by all. Besides having a cup of coffee, people were also treated to a raffle, cake, handmade card and book stalls.
